USA GRAPPLING TEAM QUALIFIERS
Interested in taking your grappling career to the ultimate level, representing the United States of America at the Grappling World Championships? The American Grappling Federation has teamed up with USA Grappling to give Americans a quality Qualifier event so they can compete in the rule set and similar environment that competitors will experience at the Grappling World Championships.
Grappling is moving quickly to the Olympic Games, and the AGF is doing its part in preparing our USA National Athletes for the World Championships. For a complete look at the rule set: UWW Grappling Rules.
The United States recently returned from Poland where the USA won the World Championships in the No Gi category.
USAG will provide travel, lodging, meals, and team gear to winners of the World Team Trials to the 2024 UWW Grappling World Championship (Kazakhstan).
The American Grappling Federation will host the USA Grappling Team Trial Qualifier competitions. The 2023/2024 AGF events are separate grappling tournaments for kids to senior ages, GI and No Gi but will hold the USAG Qualifiers as a special division at a scheduled point during selected event. These locations will hold USAG Qualifiers:
- December 2, 2023
- USA Grappling World Team Qualifier - Southeast (Westwego, Louisiana)
- February 03, 2024
- USA Grappling World Team Qualifier - Southwest (Los Angeles, California)
