USA Grappling Membership

Thank you for your interest in being a member of USA Grappling the national governing body of grappling sports in the United States and exclusive path to Team USA and the UWW Grappling World Championships. The following is a synopsis of the benefits of your membership:

Athletes

All athletes will receive annual insurance coverage up to $25,000 as secondary accident insurance. This insurance serves to cover the deductible and co-payments of your primary insurance or serves as primary insurance for the uninsured. The coverage is applicable if injured at a tournament or sanctioned practice. The policy also includes a $10,000 accidental death or dismemberment benefit. Members 18 years and old they receive abuse prevention education and the ability to compete to make the Senior World team. Membership is a 12-month calendar year. The same provisions are applicable to youth membership apart from competing for the Senior World Team.

Coaches and Professors

All instructors will receive annual insurance coverage up to $25,000 as secondary accident insurance. This insurance serves to cover the deductible and co-payments of your primary insurance or serves as primary insurance for the uninsured. The coverage is applicable if injured at a tournament or sanctioned practice. The policy also includes a $10,000 accidental death or dismemberment benefit. Grappling leader membership requires completion of a background check and abuse prevention training.

Academy and Clubs

Membership provides $1,000,000 / $5,000,000 General Liability insurance including $300,000 to damage of premise rented and $500,000 sexual abuse coverage. Coverage is for the primary location of practice and is solely available to members with a valid Grappling Leader membership.

Events

Sanctioned event provides $1,000,000 / $5,000,000 General Liability insurance including $300,000 to damage of premise rented and $500,000 sexual abuse coverage. Coverage is for the location of the event and allows for additionally named insured. Sanctioning of events is solely available to members with a valid Grappling Leader membership.
